TV-Series
Description
José, who appears in the animated series, is the son and a primary agent of the scientist Doctor Von Reichter. His physical appearance is that of a young boy with dark skin and black hair, one side of which is shaved while longer strands cover the other side of his face. He is typically dressed in a blue polo shirt with a red necktie over dark green shorts and brown shoes, and he always wears orange glasses. While he looks like a child, he is chronologically an adult, having been engineered to possess eternal youth to prevent him from growing up and rebelling against his father. Poor eyesight was also deliberately included in his design, making him dependent on his spectacles.

José has a difficult and twisted personality, shaped almost entirely by his cruel creator and father. He is selfish, ill-tempered, greedy, and childish, but also takes his role as a villain very seriously. His deepest motivation is a desperate need to make his father proud of him, which drives him to commit countless crimes and attempt to capture or destroy Cybersix. Despite this need for approval, he is also quite evil in his own right, showing no respect for others and no care for who he hurts in the process of achieving his goals. He holds absolute control over his own henchmen and does not tolerate failure.

Within the story, José acts as the field commander of his father's operations and is the antagonist that Cybersix most frequently battles. His main role is to carry out Von Reichter's plans, which often involve unleashing monsters or Fixed Ideas upon the city of Meridiana. He is bent on taking over the city and eliminating his nemesis, Cybersix. His most significant relationship is with his father, Doctor Von Reichter. In the animated series, he is generally considered the man's son, and his actions are driven by a mix of filial duty and a personal desire for power. Their relationship is not a loving one; the Doctor is abusive, and José himself shows traits of treachery. In the final confrontation, José ultimately betrays his father when it is decided that the city should be destroyed, and he was intended to become the series' new main antagonist before production ended.

José does not undergo a heroic transformation, but he does experience significant development in terms of his independence and ambition. He eventually abandons his role as a mere subordinate and seeks to surpass his creator, effectively overshadowing Von Reichter to become the primary threat in his own right. As for notable abilities, José does not possess superhuman physical powers like Cybersix. His strengths lie in his high intelligence, his mature and cunning nature for his apparent age, and his absolute authority over the Fixed Ideas, who are the various monsters and henchmen he commands. He is also shown to be resourceful, using advanced technology and machinery in his attempts to conquer Meridiana. While the source material for the comic depicts a far more vulgar and debauched version of the character, the animated series presents this more controlled but still menacing version who serves as a constant and formidable threat.
