Momotaro is a character from the anime Hozuki's Coolheadedness, based on the classic Japanese folk hero of the same name. He appears as a pretentious, old-fashioned samurai spirit who is deeply proud of his past accomplishments as a human. Over the course of the series, Momotaro experiences some development from a rampaging, prideful folk hero into a more settled worker in the underworld, though he retains his old-fashioned mannerisms and quick temper.
