ONA
Description
Greta is the headwoman of Danesti, a village located a few miles from the castle that once belonged to Dracula and later becomes Alucard’s home. Her family originally escaped from the Roman city of Carthage, located in present-day Tunisia, though she considers the diverse people of her village, who have come from many different places, to be her true family.

Greta is depicted as a pragmatic and fiercely capable leader who is hardened by the constant struggle to protect her people from night creatures. She is direct, resourceful, and possesses a no-nonsense attitude, yet she also shows a capacity for understanding and affection. Her approach to Alucard is initially tinged with frustration and anger, believing he spent too long isolated in his castle without helping the surrounding people, but this sentiment gradually grows into respect and romantic affection.

Her primary motivation is the survival and protection of the villagers of Danesti. As the attacks on her village escalate, she sends a desperate plea for help to Alucard, which finally draws him out of seclusion. She manages the evacuation of her people to the safety of Alucard's castle when their own walls prove too weak to withstand a prolonged siege.

Within the story, Greta serves as a key ally who helps bring Alucard back into the world and becomes the fourth member of the main hero group. She fights alongside Alucard to defend the castle and its refugee inhabitants from a massive assault by night creatures. Her practical skills in leadership and combat provide essential balance to the group. After the final battle against Death, she remains at the castle and encourages Alucard to allow the surviving townspeople to build a new community in and around the castle grounds, helping to lay the foundations for a new future.

Greta's development is most visible in her interactions with Alucard, as she moves from criticizing his detachment to becoming a trusted partner who helps him envision a life no longer defined by solitude. Her role also draws comparisons to the character Grant Danasty from Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, as she fills a similar narrative position as a fourth warrior fighting alongside Trevor, Sypha, and Alucard, notably wearing green and employing a swashbuckling fighting style.

Her notable abilities include her prowess as a warrior, wielding a large hammer and a shortsword or dagger in battle. She is also a capable strategist and the effective political leader of her village, responsible for organizing its defenses and making life-or-death decisions for her people.
