Description
Christian Leon Yuzuriha is a character from the anime Starmyu. He is a third-year student at Ayanagi Academy and a member of the prestigious Kao Council, the student governing body of the school's musical department. His physical appearance is distinctive, characterized by long, bright green hair that reaches below his waist, which he takes care to comb each morning. He has an equally bright and energetic personality, serving as a natural mood maker within the often-serious Kao Council due to his Western European cheerfulness and generosity. Compared to the other council members, he acts in a more childish and flamboyant manner, but he takes his duties and the traditions of Ayanagi Academy seriously.
Yuzuriha is of mixed Japanese and French heritage, having been born in France and lived there until he finished middle school. As a returnee child, he often peppers his speech with simple French phrases like "tres bien," though he still struggles with aspects of the Japanese language, particularly reading long sentences. His background gives him confidence in his fashion sense and an appreciation for beautiful things, including the many flowers he planted around campus as a member of the gardening club during his second year.
During his first year at Ayanagi Academy, Yuzuriha was a member of Team Tsukigami, where he trained alongside fellow students Sazanami Sakuya, Akatsuki Kyoji, Hiragi Tsubasa, and Otori Itsuki. It was during this time that he first met Otori, who would often give him advice, a trait that Yuzuriha appreciated. However, when Otori proposed adding a different musical arrangement to the traditional "Ayanagi Showtime," Yuzuriha sided with the rest of the team against the suggestion. Unlike some of his teammates, he never hated Otori for withdrawing from the team, but as a third-year and a member of the Kao Council, he supported removing Otori from the council to protect the school's traditions. Despite this, he shows genuine concern for Otori and promises to evaluate his new team fairly. He maintains a good friendship with Sazanami, with whom he has studied since their first year.
