TV-Series
Description
Ace is the main protagonist of the Puzzle & Dragons X series, a young boy who is three-quarters human and one-quarter dragonoid, giving him a unique heritage that plays a significant role in his journey. He has a fair complexion, light brown hair with a distinctive star-shaped pattern in his bangs, and deep blue eyes. His typical outfit consists of a red hoodie with short sleeves and white stripes, light brown pants, a white and blue striped undershirt, and blue sneakers.

Personality wise, Ace is defined by his energetic, determined, and trusting nature. He is a kind boy who dislikes show-offs and is fiercely protective of his friends. His determination sometimes borders on recklessness, as he refuses to give up even when facing opponents who are clearly stronger than him, such as during his early fights with Lance. This persistence is a core aspect of his character and fuels his growth as a Dragon Caller.

Ace comes from Vienna City, where he lived a good life before his journey began. His father, King, was a famous Dragon Caller who mysteriously disappeared years ago, and his mother is Rena. Ace was inspired to become stronger and gain recognition after meeting Lance, a dragonoid Dragon Caller his age. His adventure truly starts when he finds a mysterious egg that hatches into Tamazo, a Tamadra creature that had not been seen for many years. This event leads him to encounter Lance and Devi, setting Ace on the path to becoming a Dragon Caller himself. His primary motivation is to follow in his father's footsteps, grow powerful, and make a name for himself in the world.

Throughout the story, Ace forms several key relationships. His first friend on the island of Dragoza is Charo, a younger boy whom Ace is supportive of. He develops a friendly rivalry with Tiger, another aspiring Dragon Caller. His relationship with the older Dragon Caller Garnet begins with her being condescending and mocking toward him, but after they fight together, she warms up to him considerably, eventually showing genuine worry and happiness at his safe return. The most significant relationship is with Lance. Ace initially looks up to Lance and is determined to beat him, though he loses repeatedly. Over time, Lance comes to see Ace as a true rival, and the two become friends. When Lance later hides from Ace out of fear that Ace will be angry with him, Ace works to reconcile with him. Ace also shares a deep bond with his partner monster, Tamazo, who accompanies him throughout his adventures.

Ace undergoes notable development as a character, particularly concerning his dragonoid powers. When he harnesses the power of Soul Brave, his left eye turns red. In this state, his personality changes drastically, becoming power-hungry, cocky, and aggressive, which contrasts sharply with his usual kind demeanor. This change frightens Ace to the point where he begins to fear using this power. However, with the help of Lance, he learns to overcome the negative influence of Soul Brave and gains full control over it.

As a Dragon Caller, Ace possesses several notable abilities. He can see and manipulate drops, which are described as the blood of the earth, allowing him to influence the environment. This ability also gives him a stronger connection with monsters than non-callers. In combat, he utilizes Soul Armors, which allow him to equip monsters like armor to gain their powers. His Soul Armors include the Flame Deity Falcon Horus and the Sun Deity Ra. Throughout the series, he commands a variety of monster partners, including his steadfast companion Tamazo, as well as Leviathan, Ouka, Brave X Dragon, and Dark Dragon Knight, among others.
