TV Special
Description
Livia Miskina was the mother of Olga and the wife of Acier, living on the island of Alchemi approximately two hundred years before the events of the One Piece: Heart of Gold special. She is depicted as a warm and caring parent who frequently sang the island’s lullaby to her young daughter. When Olga fell gravely ill and was on the verge of death, Livia and her husband worked together to create the Pure Gold, a miraculous substance capable of halting the aging process. They placed a piece of this gold into a ring and gave it to Olga, thereby saving her life. However, the creation of the Pure Gold attracted the attention of pirates who sought the treasure for themselves. These pirates attacked the family, and during the raid Livia was killed. Her death had a profound emotional impact on Olga, who afterward harbored deep resentment toward her father, believing that if Acier had never invented the Pure Gold, their peaceful life would not have been destroyed and her mother would have survived. Livia appears only in flashbacks, serving as the emotional catalyst for Olga’s bitter worldview and her fraught relationship with her father. She had no combat abilities or supernatural traits; her importance is rooted entirely in her role as a loving parent whose loss shapes the central conflict of the story.
