TV Special
Description
Naomi Drunk is a supporting antagonist from the One Piece television special Heart of Gold. She is a member of the Treasure Pirates, serving directly under the captain, Mad Treasure. True to her name, Naomi is perpetually intoxicated and strongly dislikes being sober. Her constant state of drunkenness is portrayed as a defining trait, affecting both her demeanor and her combat style.

In appearance, Naomi is a slim woman with tanned skin and puffy brown hair that extends past her shoulders. She typically wears a light green T‑shirt with the word “NAOMI” printed on it, pink trousers, a white fur coat, and an abundance of jewelry including necklaces, bracelets, and anklets. Her cheeks are flushed, and she often has a dazed or drowsy expression that matches her inebriated state.

Naomi’s main weapon is a bow, and she fires arrows tipped with Dyna Stones, highly explosive minerals that can destroy entire Marine ships with a single shot. Her marksmanship notably improves the more she drinks, making her a dangerous long‑range fighter despite her lack of discipline in close quarters. During the special, she is shown taking down Marine vessels and later confronts the Straw Hat Pirates. She briefly captures Nami and Robin, but is ultimately defeated by Roronoa Zoro in a one‑sided fight; Zoro’s mere threat causes her to faint in fear.

Although she follows Mad Treasure’s orders without question, Naomi deviates from her captain’s gold‑obsessed ideology in one crucial way: she values his life over the treasure. This is seen when Mad Treasure risks his own safety to retrieve the Pure Gold, and Naomi frantically calls out for him to stop, showing genuine concern. She also displays little respect for Mad Treasure’s other subordinate, the marine Tanaka, but appears to have a casual camaraderie with the fellow pirate Psycho P.

Her role in the story is primarily as an enforcer for the Treasure Pirates, aiding in the pursuit of the girl Olga and the legendary Pure Gold. She participates in the initial ambush on a Marine fleet, the chase after Olga, and the infiltration of Alchemi. Throughout the special, she remains a loyal but ultimately ineffective obstacle for the Straw Hats. After her defeat, she and the remaining Treasure Pirates are stranded inside the giant anglerfish Bonbori, where she seems content simply eating meat beside her captain, showing little regret over their failed mission.

Naomi Drunk does not undergo significant character development; her motivations remain simple—remaining drunk and serving Mad Treasure—and she exits the story in the same state she entered. Her notable abilities are limited to her archery and the destructive power of the Dyna Stones, and she is portrayed as physically unremarkable compared to the main cast, serving as a mid‑tier antagonist in the special.
