TV-Series
Description
Bijin is the older sister of Ageha and works as the personal secretary to Sabato Rokudo, the president of the Damashigami Company. She comes from a family with an elite history in the Shinigami world, and her lineage had gained significant respect for its success in taking down numerous Damashigami. Her name, which literally means beautiful person or beautiful woman, was initially thought to be a placeholder before being confirmed as her actual name.

Bijin possesses long, straight blond hair and is known for her great beauty and elegant bearing. After joining the Damashigami Company, she began wearing a pair of plum-framed glasses that function like a small domino mask, often using them to disguise her identity, particularly when her sister is nearby. Like her younger sister, she typically wears a ribbon as an accessory.

In terms of personality, Bijin projects an air of mystery befitting her role as the secretary of a shadowy organization. However, beneath this exterior, she shares similarities with her sister Ageha, displaying a notable degree of gullibility and carelessness. This is most evident in her complete devotion to Sabato, a smooth-talking and antagonistic ladies' man, as she fell for him despite her original intentions. She has fully embraced her new role, committing dishonest acts with confidence and without apparent remorse, though she does feel a lingering sense of guilt toward her sister.

Bijin's backstory and motivations are central to her character. One year before the events of the series, she left home, telling Ageha that she intended to infiltrate and take down the Damashigami Company. She was originally a competent and respected Damashigami hunter, but after going undercover, she met the company's president, Sabato Rokudo, and fell in love with him. As a result, she abandoned her mission and chose to stay by his side, working as his mysterious hot secretary. She sent Ageha a postcard explaining that she had gotten a boyfriend, leaving her sister to take over her former duties. Her primary motivation thus becomes remaining close to Sabato, even if it means betraying her family's legacy and engaging in unethical activities.

Bijin's role in the story is largely defined by her relationships. Her most significant relationship is with Sabato, to whom she appears to be completely devoted. While he is a ladies' man, she seems to be his favorite, and they appear to be in a serious relationship. She is often shown assisting him in his schemes, such as when she delivered an engagement ring to Rinne and Sakura as part of Sabato's plan to cut Rinne's ties to the living world. Her loyalty is tested when Sabato shows her a ring, leading her to believe he is proposing. She eagerly agrees to sign what she thinks is a marriage registration, only for Rinne, Sakura, and Ageha to reveal that it is actually a contract to make her buy the ring. This moment of betrayal causes her to feel hurt and briefly return to her old senses, apologizing to Ageha and resolving to return home with Sabato's head. However, Sabato manages to manipulate the situation by claiming he was selling the rings to earn a trip to the hot springs, which turns out to be an employee trip, much to her annoyance.

Her relationship with her sister Ageha is strained and complex. Ageha greatly admired Bijin, but Bijin ultimately left her for Sabato without returning, implying she prioritizes her boyfriend over her sister. When Ageha finally discovers her by breaking her disguise, Bijin merely apologizes but continues to stay with Sabato. This neglect has left Ageha feeling hurt and betrayed. Despite this, Bijin does feel some guilt, which is why she consistently hides her face behind a mask whenever she appears in front of Ageha.

Regarding her abilities, Bijin is shown to wield a standard Shinigami scythe. Given her family's esteemed reputation for hunting Damashigami, it can be assumed that she was a highly competent Shinigami before her defection. Her skills, however, are not the focus of her character, as her role is defined more by her personal choices and relationships than by her combat prowess. There is no significant character development that alters her core allegiance, as she consistently returns to Sabato's side despite occasional moments of doubt, such as the incident with the ring contract.
