Izumi Kitta is a Japanese voice actress born on November 27, 1984, in Tokyo, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent agency Hibiki. Before beginning her voice acting career, she worked as a race queen and showgirl under the stage name Manami Nanto. In 2007, she enrolled in the DWANGO Creative School, a voice actor training institution, and made her formal debut as a voice actress in 2008 under her current name. She later moved to her current agency in 2009.

Kitta is widely recognized for her leading roles in several anime franchises. She is known for voicing Cordelia Glauca in the Tantei Opera Milky Holmes series, a role she has played across multiple television seasons, specials, and films, including Tantei Kageki Milky Holmes TD, Futari wa Milky Holmes, and the various Tantei Opera Milky Holmes installments. In the long-running Cardfight!! Vanguard series, she voices the character Misaki Tokura, appearing in the main television anime, several of its sequels, and the Gekijōban Cardfight!! Vanguard film. Her other notable lead roles include Tomoko Kuroki in Watamote (No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular!), Sakura Ōsawagi in Maido! Urayasu Tekkin Kazoku, and Manabu Numata in Gigant Shooter Tsukasa. She also provides the voice for the Japanese dub of Rainbow Dash in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

Her career includes significant recurring collaborations with the media conglomerate Bushiroad, starring in numerous anime adapted from their card games and other properties. As a core member of the voice-acting unit Milky Holmes, she has been active in music and live performances related to the franchise since 2009. In addition to her voice work, Kitta has demonstrated skill in card games, serving as a lecturer on the TBS program CARD Gakuen and earning runner-up honors in a national tournament for the TCG Sunday VS Magazine. She was also appointed as an official ambassador for the city of Utsunomiya in 2014, earning the title Gyoza Princess due to her well-known passion for and extensive knowledge of dumplings.
