TV-Series
Description
Gina Papulton is an American E-Pandora who appears in the second season of the anime, Freezing Vibration. She is a participant in the E-Pandora Project, a program designed to create artificial Pandora warriors from individuals sold by their families, as was her case. Within this project, she is considered the second strongest among the E-Pandoras.

In terms of appearance, Gina is a young woman with a slender figure. She has short, pink hair cut in a style often described as tomboyish and matching pink eyes. She is typically seen wearing the standard uniform of an E-Pandora.

Gina’s personality is initially characterized by her frustration and competitive drive, especially when confronted with the superior capabilities of natural-born Pandora. She is shown to be easily agitated by her own perceived weaknesses but is also readily calmed and inspired by the words of her comrade, Amelia Evans. This reveals a deep-seated desire for belonging and strength, as she dedicates herself to the project’s success. Her commitment to her friends is a key motivation; she volunteers for dangerous experimental drugs, not wanting Amelia to carry the burden alone. As the project advances, Gina expresses a newfound pride in her identity as an E-Pandora and a gratitude for the strength she has gained, showing a significant shift from her initial hatred of the world to a more positive outlook.

Her role in the story is central to the E-Pandora Project arc. She serves as a test subject for a powerful new drug called Mark IV, which she willingly accepts to become stronger. During a mock battle, she fights against the main protagonist, Satellizer L. Bridget, where she demonstrates her enhanced abilities and expresses her pride in being an E-Pandora. However, the Mark IV drug proves to be unstable and ultimately causes her to undergo a painful transformation into a Nova Form, a monstrous state that turns her into a threat. Her tragic death at the hands of the powerful Pandora, Charles Bonaparte, becomes a pivotal moment that reveals the corruption and inhumanity of the Chevalier organization and the E-Pandora Project.

Gina’s key relationships are primarily with her fellow E-Pandoras, especially Amelia Evans. Amelia is her closest comrade, and Gina looks to her for leadership and inspiration. Their bond is strong, with Gina wishing to share Amelia’s burdens. During Gina’s final rampage in her Nova Form, it is Amelia who desperately tries to reach the remaining consciousness within her friend and begs for her life to be spared. She also shares a significant, though brief, connection with Satellizer L. Bridget, who she battles and later thanks for helping her understand the true strength of a Pandora.

Her development is a tragic arc from a frustrated and competitive warrior to a proud and grateful young woman, only to have that positive growth horrifically cut short by her forced transformation and death. This serves as a stark warning about the dangers of the Mark IV drug and the unethical nature of the project.

As an E-Pandora, Gina’s natural abilities are generally inferior to those of a natural-born Pandora; for instance, she cannot produce her own Volt Weapon. However, after being injected with the Mark IV drug, her power increases dramatically. In this enhanced state, she can manifest her own Volt Weapon, a long wooden staff, and perform advanced techniques like the Accel Turn. Upon fully transforming into a Nova Form, her abilities become formidable. She can overpower a high-ranking Pandora like Elizabeth Mably and even break a Freezing field. Her body develops Nova spikes and patches of blue Nova armor, and she gains the ability to fire a powerful Nova Particle Beam. In this state, her reaction speed continuously increases during combat, making her a lethal opponent.
