Description
Miriam Tachibana, commonly referred to as Minnie C., is a former second lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. Her husband, Joe, was killed in action during a tour of service in Iraq. Following his death, she manifested a supernatural ability as a Dream of Alice, enabling her to summon her husband’s arm at will. This power brought her to the attention of the research facility operated by Kreis & Clark Japan, where she was recruited as both a subject and a staff member. She is an antagonist in the story, working to retrieve and contain other Dreams of Alice who escape the facility.

Her personality is marked by a disciplined, military bearing and a strong affinity for Japanese culture, which she expresses by always wearing a kimono. She is driven by a sense of duty to the research organization and by the personal loss that awakened her ability. Her motivations are tied to her grief and her belief in the necessity of controlling supernatural individuals. She regards the protagonist Sana, a powerful Dream of Alice known as the Red Queen, as a primary target and opposes the efforts of Zoroku Kashimura to protect her.

In terms of key relationships, she interacts most frequently with the research facility’s staff and other Dreams of Alice. Her bond with her deceased husband remains a central emotional anchor, influencing both her actions and her ability. She does not undergo major change over the course of the story, serving as a persistent antagonist until her final confrontation.

Her notable ability is the summons of her husband’s arm, which she can materialize at any time and use for combat, restraint, or manipulation. This power, combined with her military training, makes her a formidable opponent. She also possesses the typical traits of a Dream of Alice, giving her a connection to the supernatural phenomena that the series explores. Her appearance is that of an adult woman with short black hair and brown eyes, and she is consistently depicted in traditional Japanese attire.
