Description
The character referred to as Ohni appears in Children of the Whales under the name Ouni. He is a sixteen-year-old Marked youth living aboard the Mud Whale, a drifting island vessel, where he leads the Moles, a group of troublemakers who constantly break the island's rules. Ouni is widely considered the most powerful user of thymia among the Mud Whale's inhabitants, a reputation that makes even the island's elders uneasy. He has long dark purple hair usually tied back in a messy ponytail, purplish navy eyes, and often wears a necklace with a rectangular pendant. Small white puffball-like creatures called Mud Moths, which glow blue in the dark, are frequently seen floating near him. He is regarded as one of the most striking and stylish residents of the Mud Whale and is rumored to have started a fashion trend among the island's young Marked men.
Ouni's origins are mysterious. He appeared on the Mud Whale with no known parents or connections to any established group, and he grew up as an outsider.
