Description
Nozomi Amano is a second-year high school student and one of the main protagonists of Battle Girl High School. She has long orange hair, light blue or mint green eyes, stands 160 cm tall, and weighs 44 kg. Her birthday is July 7. She is a member of the units Tiara and ROUGE and fights using the Unicorn star dress.
Nozomi’s mother is a fashion designer who runs her own brand, and Nozomi inherited that dream: she aspires to launch her own clothing label. Fashion is central to her identity. She always wears the latest trends, and she is considered a fashion leader among her peers. She is also skilled at sewing and can create outfits not only for herself but for all sixteen members of her team when they perform as idols. She cares deeply about her appearance and maintains her physique through regular tennis, which she plays as a hobby.
Despite her flashy, gal-like exterior, Nozomi is a responsible and kind-hearted person. She is good at cooking and household chores, and she has a strong sense of duty. She enjoys listening to others’ problems and often acts as a counselor for her friends and juniors. However, she has never experienced romantic love herself, which sometimes makes her feel insecure about the advice she gives. She is notably caring toward younger students and is well-liked even outside the star guardian circle. In the story, she shows leadership during difficult moments. After a defeat by the enemy Iris, she takes the initiative to lead the group on a training camp, which helps unite the team and eventually leads to their final awakening. She is also quick to act on her convictions, such as when she helps the enemy Sadone escape from being dissected.
Nozomi’s key relationships include her teammates in Tiara and ROUGE, her juniors who trust her, and the teacher, whom she treats with a casual, friendly attitude. She has a slight aversion to men but does not show fear toward the teacher. Her development moves from being initially seen as a relatively ordinary, fashion-obsessed girl to becoming a pivotal figure who inspires and rallies the group through crises.
