Description
Damian Gray is a character from the manga Infini-T Force: The Lines of the Future. He is a man who serves and follows a figure he refers to as Z, whose real name is Kaidou Ichidou. Damian is characterized as an affected and flamboyant narcissist with a flashy visual-kei fashion sense. He is a skilled and evasive talker who often speaks in riddles and rarely reveals his true feelings. Furthermore, he frequently engages in behavior that could be described as having a bad taste, and due to his apparent lack of loyalty towards his master, he is disliked even among his own allies.

Despite these unpleasant traits, Damian possesses a sharp intellect and a keen ability to see through people's inner thoughts and emotions. He is able to discern that his comrade Bell Lin is in love with Nanjoji, and he is the only one of his group who understands that Z's true intention in ordering the murder of Emi is to draw out the power of the Possibility Pencil. While he often acts as though he dismisses the concept of justice, he also shows contradictory behavior, such as displaying interest and expectation in the actions of heroes.

In his original world, Damian Gray was an officer with the International Police who was praised as the embodiment of the highest justice on Earth. However, after being captured by an enemy organization while on a reckless mission and having some information forced out of him with a truth serum, he was betrayed by his own organization. They attempted to kill him to protect their public image, an act from which he escaped by killing his would-be executioners. This experience shattered his faith in the justice he once believed in, leading him to seek an absolute form of justice to enact. He eventually met Kaito Ichidou and pledged his loyalty to him.

When the heroes are summoned to Emi Kaidou's world, Damian becomes particularly interested in the armored samurai, Ken the Eagle, due to his unique preoccupation with justice. After the defeat of Parabellum, Damian begins to act independently to measure the power of the Possibility Pencil and to test the heroes. He later leaks information to Ken, causing him to kill Bell Lin, which results in Ken suffering from a crushing guilt. Damian then approaches Ken, inviting him to join forces in the search for true justice, and together they kidnap Emi. Eventually, branding himself as someone who can teach true justice, Damian uses the power of the Possibility Pencil to gain overwhelming strength. He is ultimately defeated by Polymar, who, having discarded his doubts, uses the Polymar-style Scientific Ninja Art Genkagenohōtoru. As he is defeated, his desire for recognition is seen through, and he disappears into the flames with a calm expression on his face. Later, he is revived by someone and provides advice to the heroes who are confused by Z's schemes.
