Description
Alexandrina Victoria is the reigning Queen of Britain in the world of Code:Realize -Guardian of Rebirth-. Her appearance is as grand and imposing as her station, with elegant white hair often styled in an updo and adorned with a black headdress or fur-trimmed hat. She typically wears a golden dress with a corset, complemented by accessories such as a choker, earrings, and gloves. This extravagant and regal exterior is a deliberate part of her public persona.

Beneath her imposing and sometimes cold exterior lies a deeply driven and effective monarch. She is fiercely patriotic and places the well-being of her subjects and the continued growth and power of her nation above all else. Her confidence and refined demeanor are essential tools for leadership, but they also serve as a mask. A flashback reveals that she was once a quiet and shy girl, and the poised, and at times ruthless, queen is a persona she has had to develop to rule effectively. Despite her calculating nature, she is not without compassion, as she is shown to care for Finis almost as if he were her own child and feels sympathy for the protagonist Cardia's plight, even when they find themselves as adversaries.

Her motivations are rooted in a profound sense of inherited duty and a fear for her nation's future. She carries the heavy burden of her father's legacy, knowing that under previous rule, Great Britain conquered many lands and created many enemies. Victoria is acutely aware that if Britain ever loses its technological and military edge, it will be vulnerable to destruction. This fear is the engine behind her aggressive and unwavering push for technological innovation, regardless of the moral cost. This stance puts her at the center of the story's conflict, as her pursuit of national strength through scientific advancement often clashes directly with the protagonists. She is the main antagonist in Victor Frankenstein's route, while in other paths, including Lupin's route where she plays a major role, her position is more that of a powerful supporting character.

Several key relationships define her role. She knighted Abraham Van Helsing for his accomplishments in the Vampire War, but because she authorized that conflict, the vampire hunter harbors complicated feelings toward her. Her most trusted confidant is her knight, Rempart Leonhardt. Having plucked him from the streets as a commoner, she is the sole person in London he is deeply loyal to, and he is the only one she trusts fully, seeing the humanity behind her queenly veneer. She also has a significant history with Victor Frankenstein, having placed him on projects that led to the creation of Zicterium gas. Wracked with guilt, Frankenstein fled her service, and she seeks his return, valuing his genius and being somewhat willing to accommodate his demands. Furthermore, she is somehow acquainted with Cardia's father, the legendary scientist Isaac Beckford, a connection that adds another layer to her involvement in the main plot.

Over the course of the story, while her core motivation remains constant, the perception of her character deepens. She is revealed to be more than a simple tyrant; her actions are driven by a heavy, burdensome sense of responsibility for the nation's survival. Her development is less about personal change and more about the revelation of the vulnerable and burdened individual who exists behind the powerful mask of the queen. As a monarch, her notable abilities are not physical but political. She commands absolute authority, has access to the nation's deepest secrets, and wields immense power through her control over her subjects, scientists, and military forces. Her true strength lies in her political acumen, her ability to manipulate events from the throne, and her unwavering resolve to protect her empire at any cost.
