Description
Charlotte Rosary is the captain of the Blue Rose squad of the Magic Knights in the Clover Kingdom. She is a noblewoman from the House of Roselei, a tall individual with long blonde hair usually styled in a braid and bun, and light blue eyes. At the start of the series, she is twenty-seven years old.
Her background is defined by a curse placed upon her in childhood. This curse was set to activate on her eighteenth birthday, threatening to trap her and her family in a cage of thorns. Driven to break it, Charlotte trained and joined the Magic Knights. When the curse finally activated, she was on the verge of giving up. At that moment, Yami Sukehiro, the captain of the Black Bulls, cut through the thorns to reach her, not to save her from the curse, but to complain about the thorns ruining his pasta. His words and actions caused her to fall in love with him, which was the key to breaking the curse. However, its lingering effect permanently turned the roses produced by her magic from red to blue.
Charlotte presents a cold, stern, and indifferent exterior, especially towards men, whom she generally claims to disdain. This carefully maintained composure is a direct contrast to her true feelings.
