Adriana Torres is a Brazilian voice actress based in Rio de Janeiro, recognized for her extensive work dubbing anime series and Western animation into Portuguese. Beyond her performance work, she is also an actress and serves on the board of the ADDC (Associação de Dubladores Dário de Castro), an association for professional voice actors in Brazil. Born on December 28, 1977, her career spans several decades, including notable contributions to the Brazilian versions of major franchises. Torres has been the voice for a wide array of characters in anime. Her roles include the villainous Elsa Granhierth in Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-. She is also known for voicing Yuriko Nishinotoin in Kakegurui. Her work in the fantasy genre extends to the role of the Ancient warrior Lelia Mofur in Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table. She also voiced Hibari Hanakoganei in the 1998 series Cyber Team in Akihabara. In a much older classic, she provided the voice for the mole character Neck in the 1980s series Mock & Sweet, known in Brazil as As Aventuras de Nick & Neck. In addition to her anime work, Torres has a prolific career dubbing live-action actresses and characters in Western animation. She is the voice of Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce in the Brazilian dub of The Vampire Diaries. She has also voiced Marceline in Adventure Time, Dora in Dora the Explorer, and Flora in Winx Club. Her voice can be heard in the Brazilian dubs of other major animated series such as Digimon and the 2011 Thundercats revival.
