Description
Dita is a human character who first appears in the town near Helm Ranch as a child. As a young girl, she has short, messy orange hair decorated with beads on the left side and yellow eyes. Her childhood outfit consists of a yellow shirt, a dark blue skirt, and brown boots. In her adult years, she grows her hair out into a shoulder-length bob, adds an extra bead to the side, and wears a dark blue dress over a white gown with a yellow cardigan and brown boots.

During her youth, Dita acts as a bully toward Ariel, the human boy adopted and raised by the Iorph Maquia. She teases him specifically for his close relationship with his mother, finding it unusual. Despite this harsh behavior, she shows vulnerability when Ariel responds by declaring that he hates her, which reduces her to tears. This moment reveals that her bullying stems from childish emotions rather than genuine cruelty. She later attempts to apologize to Ariel for her actions, but by the time she goes to find him, he has already left the village with Maquia, leaving her unable to deliver her message of remorse.

As an adult, Dita moves to the kingdom of Mezarte in search of work. There, she reunites with Ariel, and the two eventually marry. Her personality has mellowed dramatically by this stage of her life, and she has grown into a more thoughtful and sincere person. However, she still carries insecurities, expressing doubts about whether she is truly the right person for Ariel. These doubts are connected to her lingering feelings about Maquia, whom she acknowledges as beautiful and wonderful. In a heartfelt confession, Dita admits that her childhood bullying of Ariel was motivated by jealousy she wanted him to love her the way he loved his mother, and she expresses genuine remorse for her past behavior.

Dita's most significant moment in the story occurs during the invasion of Mezarte, when she goes into labor. As the chaos of battle unfolds around her, Maquia finds her and helps deliver her child. Dita begs Maquia to save her baby when the pain becomes too much to bear, showing her deep love and concern for her unborn child. After the birth, with assistance from the soldier Lang, Dita and her new family relocate to Helm Ranch, where she and Ariel raise their daughter, Millia. According to her daughter, Dita lives a happy and peaceful life into her old age, eventually passing away after a full and contented life. In her later years, she also has a granddaughter named Lily. As an ordinary human, Dita possesses no supernatural abilities, and her significance lies entirely in her emotional journey from a troubled child to a loving wife and mother.
