TV-Series
Description
Dvořák, also known affectionately as Dovo-chan by other characters, is a peculiar ClassicaLoid who appears in the second season of the anime. Unlike the other main ClassicaLoids who possess human forms, Dvořák manifests as a small, pygmy hippopotamus. This unusual appearance, which includes black eyes and a typical outfit of a yellow shirt with an apple print and a necklace, sets him apart. He is counted out of the official Octave due to his animal form, yet he is still a ClassicaLoid created by Kyougo Otowa, born with the memories of the Romantic period composer Antonín Leopold Dvořák.

Behind his hippopotamus exterior lies an intelligent but often melancholy personality. Dvořák is keenly aware of his strange situation and frequently wonders why he is trapped in an animal body while the others have human forms. He is generally calm and friendly, spending much of his time eating and sleeping, which he refers to as meditation. Since he cannot speak in his usual state, only making sounds like Pugi, he prefers to keep his thoughts to himself, engaging in internal monologue. Despite his quiet nature, he has a very strong obsession with trains, a passion that directly translates into his abilities and reflects the historical composer's well-known love for railroads.

Dvořák initially appears as a companion to Wagner, and the two share a close bond, often living together at the Otowa Mansion. His role in the story is that of a supporting character whose primary personal motivation is a deep desire to become human. This wish drives much of his personal journey, including a period where he leaves the mansion with the robot Pad-kun to search for a way to change his form. Key relationships include his friendship with Wagner and a memorable encounter with the composer Chopin, where, despite his inability to speak, he manages to offer advice, becoming one of the few characters to have a proper conversation with the reclusive Chopin.

Dvořák undergoes notable development throughout the series, largely centered on his quest for humanity. At one point, he successfully triggers his second Musik, the New World Symphony, 2nd Movement, which temporarily allows him to take on a handsome, bearded human form. Later, he finds a medicine intended to make him human, but it accidentally transforms the other ClassicaLoids into dwarves instead. When he finally takes an antidote, his body glows and he becomes human again, though this form is stiff and unnatural, resembling a figure from a portrait, and no one believes it is him. This leads to a period of loneliness and doubt. Ultimately, it is revealed that his hippopotamus form was not intentional; Kyougo Otowa simply wanted a pet baby hippo, and when he played Dvořák's music to test the creature's consciousness, it became a ClassicaLoid by chance.

As a ClassicaLoid, Dvořák can use a power called Musik. His transformation catchphrase is "Urychleně nastupujte, vlak hned odjede!" which is Czech for "Please hurry aboard! The train will depart immediately!" His Musik forms are inspired by train conductors. His primary ability is the New World Symphony, 4th Movement, which allows him to unleash powerful energy beams related to trains. His second ability, the New World Symphony, 2nd Movement, has the power to transport people back to a place they consider home. Despite his smaller role, his unique circumstances and heartfelt desires make him a memorable and sympathetic figure among the cast of musical reincarnations.
