Description
Hisahito Mizuki is a third-year student at Seiseki High School and the captain of its football club, wearing jersey number seven. He initially had no soccer experience when he entered high school and was a very poor player, but through relentless daily practice and extraordinary effort he developed into a talented forward and one of the most formidable strikers in Tokyo. Mizuki has messy jet-black hair and dark brown eyes. He stands 176 centimeters tall and weighs 66 kilograms. He was born in Tokyo on February 11 and has blood type B. His family runs a tofu shop, and he originally intended to become a professional runner like several of his relatives, but he discovered a passion for soccer and chose to dedicate himself to the sport instead. His ultimate motivation is to continue playing through high school and eventually become a professional soccer player.

Mizuki is hardworking and kind by nature, though he also has dense and foolish tendencies that sometimes lead him into unintentionally comedic situations. He speaks very little, but his presence on and off the field carries significant weight, and his teammates trust him deeply. He is serious and earnest, yet his awkward or straightforward remarks often make him a constant source of humor. He cares profoundly for Seiseki and every member of the team, and his teammates in turn respect the rapid growth he has achieved. His favorite personal phrase is “There isn’t a weed out there that doesn’t have a name,” reflecting a belief that everything and everyone has its own value. He enjoys gummy candy and dislikes thin, long objects.

Within the story, Mizuki serves as the team’s undisputed ace and leader. His impressive stamina, sharp reflexes, and high work rate make him a central figure on the field. He plays a crucial role in maintaining the team’s morale, especially when the squad faces strong opponents or high-pressure moments. He is often seen as a positive influence who keeps his teammates motivated and focused. His development from a complete novice into a reliable star player highlights the theme of persistence and self-improvement. Mizuki’s deep bonds with his teammates are essential to the unity of the Seiseki football club, and his leadership helps drive the team forward through both victories and challenges.
