Description
Oyadarma, also romanized as Oyadama, is a supporting antagonist in the anime Time Bokan 24 and its sequel Time Bokan: The Villains Strike Back, where he serves as the hidden mastermind behind the series' villainous organization. He is the owner and president of History Paradise, the world's largest textbook publishing company in the 24th century, and the direct superior of the Akudama Trio, the three-person villain group that carries out field missions. In his public role he appears to be a respectable corporate leader, but on screen his face is always concealed behind a skull-shaped mosaic, underscoring his position as a mysterious figure who operates from behind the scenes.
His central motivation in the first series is to preserve the officially taught version of history, which is revealed to be a fabricated textbook history that hides the true events of the past. Because History Paradise supplies the standard history textbooks used throughout the 24th century, any discovery of true history would force enormous rewrites of the company's publications, and Oyadarma sends the Akudama Trio into the past to obstruct the Time-Space Administration Bureau's investigations in each era. In the sequel, his objectives shift: he orders the trio to travel through history and collect Dynamonds, valuable treasures associated with famous historical figures, giving the second season its central mission.
