Hori

Description
Hori is a Japanese entertainer and voice actor, born Hirohito Hori on February 11, 1977, in Chiba Prefecture. He is primarily known as an impressionist (monomane tarento) and has been active in the entertainment industry since 1999, represented by the agency Horipro Com. His public persona is that of a comedic performer specializing in celebrity impersonations, and he has been a regular on various Japanese variety television programs.

While his main career is in live entertainment, Hori possesses a limited but notable filmography as an anime voice actor. His entry into voice acting occurred in a specific context, as he was chosen to inherit certain roles following the death of veteran voice actor Junpei Takiguchi in 2011. Takiguchi was well-known for voicing a specific archetype of "evil boss" characters in the long-running Time Bokan franchise. Hori was subsequently cast to continue these roles in new installments of the series.

Hori's most significant anime role is that of Oyadama (also referred to as Oyadarma) in the Time Bokan franchise. He voiced the character in the 2016 series Time Bokan 24 and reprised the role in its follow-up, Time Bokan: The Villains Strike Back (Time Bokan: Gyakushu no San-Okunin). In addition to this, he voiced the character Dokurobei in the 2015 series Yatterman Night, another entry in the same franchise. These roles represent the core of his voice acting work, marking him as a successor to a specific character legacy within a single, long-running anime series.

His career as a voice actor is therefore not defined by a broad range of roles but rather by a direct and targeted continuation of character work within the Time Bokan universe. Beyond this franchise, his voice acting credits are sparse and do not include major or recurring roles in other popular anime series.
