Description
Jack Hanma is a major character in the martial arts manga and anime series Baki. He is the son of the "strongest creature on Earth," Yujiro Hanma, and a Canadian operative named Diane Neil. Jack is the older half-brother of the series' protagonist, Baki Hanma. His origins are tied to the Vietnam War, where his mother encountered Yujiro. After being disarmed and outmaneuvered, Diane Neil was assaulted by Yujiro, an act from which Jack was conceived. She later gave birth to him in prison.
Driven from birth by a singular, all-consuming desire, Jack's sole motivation is to defeat his father, Yujiro, and avenge his mother. This goal has shaped every aspect of his existence.
