Dakki, known fully as So Dakki, is the primary antagonist of Hakyū Hōshin Engi and stands as the most powerful and malevolent spirit in the world of the story. She is a beautiful and ancient fox spirit, or sennyo, whose age is so great that even she has forgotten her precise origin. Her most prominent role is that of the Yin Empress, having used her supernatural charm and cunning to bewitch and control the emperor, Chuu Ou, thereby seizing effective control over the entire In dynasty.
Dakki's personality is defined by a profound cruelty, a genius-level intellect, and an insatiable desire for power and amusement. She is a master manipulator and an exceptional actress, capable of hiding her true sadistic nature behind a facade of sweetness, cuteness, and innocence.
