Description
Airazor is a Decepticon Mini-Con from the 2015 Transformers: Robots in Disguise animated series, which is part of the Aligned continuity family. As one of two Mini-Cons serving under the bounty hunter Fracture, Airazor is characterized as being somewhat more straightforward and less quick-witted than his partner, Divebomb. While not unintelligent, he is described as a little slower on the uptake and more prone to silliness, which means Divebomb typically does most of the thinking when Fracture is not around to give directions. Despite this less focused demeanor, Airazor becomes a genuinely threatening opponent once he has locked onto a target, as he takes genuine delight in sneakery, skullduggery, and causing trouble for others.

Airazor arrives on Earth alongside Fracture and Divebomb with the primary goal of capturing Bumblebee to claim a bounty. The trio quickly becomes entangled in conflicts with the Autobots, including Drift and his own Mini-Cons, Jetstorm and Slipstream. When direct confrontation proves difficult, Fracture resorts to espionage, using micro-drones to spy on the Autobots' movements. Airazor participates in various schemes, including an attempt to abduct several Autobots and a human to force Bumblebee's surrender. Later, Airazor and Divebomb join Steeljaw's Pack, a larger Decepticon team, and take part in operations such as taking over the Autobot scrapyard and operating the Alchemor's control systems. In one notable mission, Airazor masquerades as a human named Hank to infiltrate the Autobot base. The character's active role concludes when he is eventually placed in a stasis pod alongside the rest of Steeljaw's team and later taken back to Cybertron.

In terms of key relationships, Airazor is almost always seen alongside Divebomb, and the two function as a pair under Fracture's command. They also interact with their Autobot Mini-Con counterparts, Jetstorm and Slipstream, often as adversaries but on one occasion forming a temporary, uneasy alliance to face a common threat from rogue Cyclone Mini-Cons. Regarding his abilities, Airazor is a Torpedo-style Mini-Con, which means his alternate mode is a Cybertronian torpedo. True to his classification, he can be launched from a special sidecar launcher attached to his partner Fracture. He is also compatible with additional armor accessories, including energy swords and arm blades, which augment his capabilities in robot mode.
