Description
Luzifer is the main protagonist of the anime Seven Mortal Sins. She was originally the first of the archangels of Heaven and one of the Seven Lively Virtues, but she was denounced and cast out of Heaven due to her growing pride and rebellion against the will of God. As a fallen angel, she was thrown into the lowest level of Hell. During her fall, she briefly stopped on Earth, crashing through a high school church, where a young girl named Maria Totsuka witnessed her arrival. Luzifer infused Maria with a part of her angelic blood before continuing her descent into Hell. Once in the depths of Hell, she was met by Leviathan, an aspiring minor Demon Lord of Envy. Shortly after, Luzifer was challenged by the Seven Sins, the ruling Demon Lords of Hell led by Belial. Combining their powers, the Seven Sins overcame Luzifer and sealed away her angelic powers by fitting her with a cursed Garb of Punishment, a barbed tattoo-like body-chain that constantly tormented her with pain and bloodletting, transforming her into a Demon Lord.
