Description
Hinako Nijikki is a supporting character in BanG Dream! known for her role as the drummer of the band GlitterGreen. She is also an inventory worker at Edogawa Music, a local instrument shop. Before graduating, she and her fellow GlitterGreen members served on the student council at Hanasakigawa Girls' High School.

In appearance, Hinako has soft brown eyes that often appear gently downturned, and matching brown hair that falls nearly to her shoulders. Her typical hairstyle features most of her bangs brushed to the left side, with longer forelocks framing her face.

Personality-wise, Hinako is a friendly and loud individual with an enthusiastic and energetic demeanor. She has a noted interest in things she considers cute, which notably includes other girls. This interest often leads her to become quite invasive with people she takes a liking to, getting into their personal space until she is either pulled away or distracted by something else. A particular quirk of her personality is that she perceives everything through a unique lens she calls Hina-chan World. Despite her naturally boisterous nature, she initially appeared to be the quiet, untalkative type during Glitter*Green's performances. It was later revealed that this was a deliberate direction from the band's leader, who told Hinako to stay silent on stage to avoid ruining the band's image.

Hinako's motivations are largely driven by her desire for connection and her love for cute things. She enjoys giving people distinctive nicknames, referring to the main protagonist Kasumi Toyama as the sparkling Kasumi-chan. She has a habit of being overly affectionate with her friends and juniors, often demanding or initiating enthusiastic physical contact. Behind her somewhat overbearing exterior, she is also a supportive presence who often listens to the concerns of her bandmates and other young musicians. Because she is readily available to lend an ear, she is acquainted with other characters in the music scene, such as Natsuki Umino. She is also aware that Saya Yamabuki had previously been in a band.

Her role in the story is primarily that of a supportive senior figure. As a member of GlitterGreen, a popular band at Hanasakigawa Girls' High School, she and her bandmates serve as a point of inspiration for the main characters. Kasumi Toyama looks up to her and affectionately calls her Hina-chan Senpai. While her development is not a primary focus of the narrative, her interactions reveal a character who is considerate beneath her loud and forward exterior, willingly restraining her natural talkativeness during performances for the good of her band. Her notable abilities include her skill as a drummer for GlitterGreen and her talent for creating a lively, if sometimes overwhelming, social atmosphere.
