TV-Series
Description
Mark Twain is a young member of the Guild, a North American organization of ability users. He appears during the second season of the series as a supporting character and operates primarily as a sniper. He has dark orange hair that is swept outward and green eyes. His ability is called Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer, named after the two famous novels by the real‑life author. This ability manifests as two small, doll-like creatures, Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer, which Twain can attach to his bullets. When attached, the creatures grant him absolute accuracy with his shots, making him a nearly perfect marksman. The minds of Huck and Tom are linked, so Twain can also use them for long‑distance surveillance by seeing through their perspective. He keeps a personal record of his successful shots in what he calls his success diary.

Twain is twenty‑two years old, with a birthday on November 30, a height of 178 centimeters, a weight of 68 kilograms, and blood type B. He dislikes plain or repetitive work and has a strong love for adventure and excitement. He enjoys being the center of attention and takes considerable pride in his own marksmanship, often doting on his doll companions and praising their skill. He has a lively, thrill‑seeking personality with an inflated sense of self‑worth, but he also carries a streak of bad luck. He is quick to recognize when he is beaten and will accept defeat without stubbornness, treating Guild missions more like games or hunts rather than serious obligations. His motivations are driven by self‑interest and a desire for enjoyment rather than loyalty to any cause, which makes him somewhat unreliable as an ally.

In the story, Twain is a member of the Guild during its conflict with the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia. He participates in the battle for Yokohama, relying on his sniping abilities to support the Guild’s efforts. He does not have a deep personal connection to most other characters, though he shows a particular fondness for Huck and Tom. After the Guild collapses, he becomes a former member and does not play a major role in later arcs, indicating that his development is limited to his brief involvement in the conflict. His primary relationships are with the creatures of his ability, with whom he frequently interacts as if they were living companions.
