Description
Lillie is a student at the Pokémon School on Melemele Island in Alola. She initially suffers from a deep fear of touching Pokémon, a condition stemming from a traumatic incident in her childhood. This phobia makes her avoid physical contact with Pokémon, often going to great lengths to keep her distance. Despite this fear, she possesses extensive theoretical knowledge about Pokémon and is one of the top students in her class. Her personality is gentle, polite, and somewhat reserved, but she shows great kindness and a strong sense of responsibility.
Her primary motivation throughout the story is to overcome her fear and become a true Pokémon Trainer. She is also driven by a desire to understand her family’s past and to reconnect with her long‑lost father, Mohn. Lillie’s role in the anime is as one of Ash Ketchum’s closest classmates and friends. She accompanies the group on many adventures and plays a key part in the arcs involving Ultra Beasts, the Aether Foundation, and her mother Lusamine.
