Description
Miku Ushimaru is a sixteen-year-old girl who serves as the human form of the capsule kaiju Miclas in the Kaiju Girls series. She is one of the three rookie members recruited by the organization GIRLS, having recently awakened her inner monster soul. Miku possesses brown hair and blue eyes, and she typically wears her old school uniform as casual attire, often tying her hair in a ponytail.

Her personality is the most energetic among her teammates. She is cheerful, enthusiastic, and always eager to help others, approaching challenges with a positive and determined attitude. Miku is a devoted fan of Great Monster Fight, a fictional monster-battling competition within the series, and her love for that spectacle reflects her passionate and competitive nature. She enjoys singing and dancing, and her lively demeanor often lifts the spirits of those around her.

Miku's primary motivation is to protect the world alongside her fellow Kaiju Girls and to make the most of her newfound abilities. She is loyal to her friends and strives to grow stronger, both as a person and as a monster fighter. Her role in the story is that of a central protagonist, and she participates in the misadventures and battles that the rookie team faces while learning to control her kaiju powers and cooperate with her comrades.

Her key relationships are with her two fellow rookies: Aki Miyashita, who carries the soul of Agira and tends to be introverted, and Reika Shiragane, who inherits Windom and has a serious demeanor. Miku's outgoing nature helps balance the trio, and she often serves as the social glue of the group. Over the course of the series, she develops a stronger bond with her teammates, learning to trust their instincts and work together effectively.

As a Kaiju Girl, Miku can transform into Miclas, a giant monster originally one of Ultraseven's capsule monsters. In her transformed state, she gains immense physical strength and agility, and she can attack using powerful horns and a red energy beam fired from her mouth. Her powers are well-suited for close-quarters combat, and she grows more adept at using them through training and real battles. While the anime does not show extensive personal development arcs beyond her initial awakening and integration into GIRLS, Miku remains a consistently energetic and dependable member of the team throughout the first and second seasons, as well as in the film Kaiju Girls (Black).
