Description
Masamune Izumi is the main protagonist of Eromanga Sensei. He is a sixteen-year-old high school student who works professionally as a light novel author under the pen name Izumi Masamune. He began his writing career in middle school after winning a light novel writing contest and later authored the popular series Silverwolf of Reincarnation, which sold over two hundred thousand copies. He later transitioned to writing romantic comedy light novels.
Personality wise, Masamune is hardworking, caring, and serious about both his writing and family. He possesses a strong sense of responsibility and independence, having decided at the age of fourteen to take care of himself and his younger stepsister Sagiri after the deaths of their parents.
