Nadi Yukinojo Kassapa is a mechanic who originally specialized in the maintenance of mobile workers during his time with Chryse Guard Security on Mars. When the child soldiers of the Third Army Division rebelled and formed the mercenary group Tekkadan, Nadi became the chief mechanic responsible for managing their hangar and maintenance crew. He is a calm and personable individual who serves as a steady, fatherly presence for the younger members of Tekkadan, many of whom address him as Yukinojo or simply Uncle. His deep sympathy for their struggles motivates him to remain with the group even during dangerous missions, and he quietly watches over them from the hangar or as a support crew member aboard transport vehicles.

Nadi’s technical expertise initially revolved around mobile workers, and he struggled at first with the unfamiliar maintenance of mobile suits. Through technical assistance from the Teiwaz conglomerate, his knowledge expanded, and he became capable of issuing precise instructions for complex repairs and modifications. He works closely with Mikazuki Augus, using the pilot’s combat feedback to fine‑tune and customize the Gundam Barbatos. Though he rarely pilots himself and is not skilled at it—once boarding a Kutan Type‑3 for transport duties—his value lies in keeping Tekkadan’s mobile suits operational. His loyalty to Orga Itsuka and the rest of the group is unwavering, and he consistently prioritizes the safety and well‑being of the young soldiers he helps support. Over the course of the story, Nadi’s role as a reliable mechanic and emotional anchor remains constant, and he survives the final conflict, becoming a part of the foundation that allows the surviving Tekkadan members to build new lives.
