Description
Orga Itsuka is the leader of Tekkadan, a private military company that grew out of the Chryse Guard Security (CGS) organization on Mars. He grew up as human debris, a child soldier, alongside Mikazuki Augus and other orphans who were treated as expendable laborers by CGS. When the adults planned to sacrifice the children in a dangerous contract, Orga staged a coup and took control of the organization, renaming it Tekkadan. This act was driven by his desire to create a place where the boys would no longer be oppressed, betrayed, or treated as disposable. His background shapes nearly everything about him: he is ambitious, fiercely protective of his comrades, and determined to secure a future in which they can live without exploitation.

Orga's personality is defined by strong leadership, charisma, and a sense of responsibility that he constantly strives to live up to. He earns deep trust from those around him and is naturally gifted as a commander, with a talent for thinking outside conventional limits that has saved his group on multiple occasions. Despite a rough childhood without formal schooling, he is literate and capable of reading and writing in two languages, though he strongly dislikes sitting at a desk to do paperwork. He balances pragmatism with genuine care for his subordinates and has a romantic side that dreams of moving toward what he calls their true place in the world. As the story progresses, his methods become bolder and more willing to embrace violence and political maneuvering in order to protect and elevate the people he considers family.

His primary motivation is upward mobility: the desire to rise above the impoverished circumstances of his Martian childhood and take his crew to the top. He sees the members of Tekkadan as family and resolves to never stop moving forward in order to protect their future. This promise becomes both a rallying cry for his followers and a source of escalating risk, as each new contract and alliance draws Tekkadan into larger conflicts and more powerful enemies.

Orga's role in the story is central as the driving force behind Tekkadan's rise. He forges an alliance with Kudelia Aina Bernstein to escort her to Earth, which brings the organization into direct conflict with Gjallarhorn, the military power that dominates the era. Under his command, Tekkadan wins significant victories, including a notable battle during the Arbrau representative nomination election, which brings the organization fame and allows it to grow into a massive company. His decisions carry the group through both triumphs and defeats, and his character arc ultimately ends in tragedy: he is killed during the final conflict with Gjallarhorn, shot after stepping outside to issue his next order to his crew.

His most important relationship is with Mikazuki Augus, whom he has known since childhood. Their bond of trust is described as stronger than that of blood brothers, and Mikazuki follows Orga's orders without question, serving as Tekkadan's ace pilot while Orga directs the strategy. Others close to him include Takaki Uno, whose loyalty helps strengthen Orga's resolve, and Atra Mixta, with whom he shares a supportive and complex dynamic. He also earns respect from some of his enemies, and his unusual honesty has on one occasion impressed a foe enough to turn that enemy into a friend.

In terms of development, Orga grows from a low-ranking leader of a child soldier unit into the head of a major political and military force. He struggles with moral dilemmas as the weight of command presses on him, gradually moving from a reliance on raw force toward a more nuanced understanding of leadership, sacrifice, and the consequences of his ambition. The very drive that lifts Tekkadan also narrows his options as stronger adversaries close in, and his story highlights both the power and the cost of his vision.

Orga's notable abilities include the Alaya-Vijnana System surgery, which grants him enhanced reflexes and piloting skill above that of an average mobile suit operator. However, his greatest strengths are not combat-related: his tactical creativity, personal charisma, and ability to inspire loyalty are what keep Tekkadan moving forward, earning him respect from both allies and adversaries alike.
