Description
Radice Relot, whose name is also romanized as Radice Riloto in some materials, is a character introduced in the second season of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. He is an adult man with black hair and grey eyes who serves as the auditor of Tekkadan's Earth Branch, a position to which he was dispatched by Teiwaz, the Jupiter-based commercial conglomerate that acts as Tekkadan's patron. In this capacity, he is responsible for accounting and administrative work, overseeing the financial and clerical operations of the branch rather than taking part in combat.

As a person, Radice is condescending and openly looks down on the members of Tekkadan, viewing them as crude and undisciplined. He places a strong emphasis on rationality and logical thinking and becomes easily irritated by what he sees as Tekkadan's inability to approach matters rationally or theoretically. This frustration leads him to clash with the organization's members on a regular basis. He is also cunning and selfish, with a calculating nature that puts his own interests ahead of any sense of duty or group loyalty.

Radice's primary motivation is personal gain. Despite his assigned role within Tekkadan, he holds no genuine commitment to the organization or its people. He secretly accepts a bribe from Galan Mossa, a figure working against Tekkadan, and enters into an arrangement with him that requires betraying the organization from within. This makes him a supporting antagonist in the second season, as he outwardly performs his duties as auditor while covertly aiding efforts to undermine and attack the group he is supposed to serve.

His most defining relationship is with Galan Mossa, his co-conspirator and the source of the bribe, with whom he shares a mutually advantageous but secret alliance. By contrast, his relationship with Tekkadan's leadership and rank-and-file is antagonistic and marked by lingering distrust, as his contempt for the group is never far below the surface. His formal connection to Teiwaz provides the basis for his position, but his actions ultimately place him in direct opposition to the people he was sent to administer.

Over the course of the story, Radice develops from a cold but ostensibly professional administrator into an outright traitor. His early friction with Tekkadan gives way to open hostility, and his willingness to sell out the organization for financial reward becomes the defining feature of his role. His story illustrates how a person can use an administrative position for self-serving ends, and his betrayal plays a significant part in the tensions and conflicts that threaten Tekkadan during this period.

Radice is not depicted as a soldier or mobile suit pilot. His abilities lie in administrative and financial management, and he is capable of handling accounts, paperwork, and the practical running of a large operation. He applies a business-minded and analytical approach to his work, and within his field he is competent enough to hold an important oversight role. Ultimately, however, his skills are placed in the service of his own greed and treachery rather than the welfare of the organization he was appointed to support.
