TV-Series
Description
Azusa Murasaka is a student at Kitao High School and one of Naho Takamiya's closest friends, playing a key supporting role in the group's efforts to change the future. Her family runs a bakery, and she has a younger sister named Misuzu.

In terms of appearance, Azusa is a girl of below-average height, standing 154 cm tall. She has strawberry blonde hair that she typically keeps tied up, often in a ponytail, using distinctive hair ties, including one with two small white balls. Her eyes are hazel in color. While she wears the standard school uniform, she has a more casual and flexible approach to it, commonly leaving her jacket unbuttoned and wearing her skirt shorter than the average length. On occasion, she might forgo the vest or jacket entirely, or swap her green school blazer for a more relaxed casual jacket. Outside of school, her fashion sense favors cute and comfortable outfits, such as striped shirts, sweaters, pink shorts, and various earrings to match her look. In future timelines, she maintains a stylish and more mature wardrobe, with her hair often styled in different updos.

Azusa has a cheerful, playful, and energetic personality, frequently bringing a sense of lightness and humor to the group. She is kind-hearted and known for being mischievous, often teasing her friends in a friendly manner. Some of her other defining traits include her open-mindedness and her willingness to accept the various nicknames she was given in middle school, such as "Huntsman," without taking offense. Despite her generally easygoing and fun-loving nature, she is also capable of being serious, understanding, and emotionally mature when difficult situations arise, particularly regarding her concern for her friends' well-being.

Azusa's primary motivations center on supporting her friends and actively working to prevent the tragic fate of Kakeru Naruse. After receiving a letter from her future self, she commits wholeheartedly to the group's mission to alter the past. A major driving force for her in the alternate timeline is her deep regret over not having acted on her knowledge that Kakeru and Naho had feelings for each other, a sentiment she shares with Hiroto Suwa. This regret fuels her determination to be more proactive this time.

Her role in the story is that of a supportive and proactive friend who helps carry out the plans suggested by the letters from the future. She is not just a passive participant; she takes initiative, such as when she devises a plan to push Naho and Kakeru closer together. Her actions demonstrate that she is integral to the group's dynamic, and the storyline periodically shifts focus to her perspective to explore her thoughts and contributions.

Azusa's key relationships are central to her character. She shares an unbreakable bond with her best friend, Takako Chino, and the two are very frequently seen together. As one of Naho's best friends, Azusa is a consistent source of encouragement, emotional support, and protection, especially when Naho faces difficulties with her own feelings or conflicts with others. Her most notable relationship is with Saku Hagita, defined by their constant, playful arguing over minor matters. Their friends compare this dynamic to that of an "old married couple". This bickering, however, belies a deeper affection, as they eventually begin dating in the main timeline and get married in an alternate future. She also shows genuine care for Kakeru, actively supporting and encouraging him to help him feel included and emotionally secure.

Throughout the narrative, Azusa experiences notable development. While she retains her core cheerful and playful essence, she gains a greater sense of maturity and emotional insight. She becomes more self-aware, acknowledging past inaction and transforming her regret into a proactive effort to secure a better future for everyone, thus proving that even small acts of support can have life-changing effects. While she lacks any special or supernatural abilities, her notable strengths include her emotional intelligence, her outgoing and proactive nature, and her ability to function as a "mood maker" who lifts the spirits of those around her while also being a reliable source of strength in serious moments.
