Julia Bautz is a German voice actress and singer born on July 15, 1993, in Bad Homburg. She began her career in 2015 after participating in a professional synchronization workshop, which led to her first voice role. Following this initial engagement, she pursued formal acting training at the Academy of Stage Arts in Oberursel to further develop her skills. Since October 2019, she has been based in Berlin. In addition to her voice acting work, Bautz has also taken on responsibilities as a dialogue book author starting in 2019 and as a dialogue director beginning in 2023.

Bautz has provided the German voice for a wide array of characters in anime series and films. Some of her notable roles include Mansherry in the long-running series One Piece, Holo in Spice and Wolf, and Kurome in Akame ga Kill!. She is also known for voicing Yukiko Kanzaki in Assassination Classroom, Riko Saikawa in Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, and Chloe in Pokémon Journeys. Other anime credits include characters in series such as Zombie Land Saga, Beastars, and Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card.
