Description
Hiromitsu Morofushi, codenamed Scotch, was a Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Public Security Bureau officer whose life was marked by tragedy and covert service. Orphaned in childhood after his parents’ murder—an event that left him with temporary amnesia and aphonia—he relocated to Tokyo to live with relatives, maintaining lifelong contact with his older brother Taka’aki in Nagano.

As an undercover agent infiltrating the Black Organization, Hiromitsu collaborated with fellow operative Rei Furuya (Bourbon) and encountered FBI infiltrator Shuichi Akai (Rye). Missions included smuggling rifles concealed in bass guitar cases, intertwining their paths. When his Public Security identity was exposed, Hiromitsu attempted suicide to destroy his compromised phone. Akai intervened, physically restraining the trigger, but Furuya’s approaching footsteps distracted Hiromitsu, who—mistaking the arrival for a Black Organization member—fatally shot himself.

His unwavering justice emerged early when, as a traumatized child, he prevented Hajime Tomori, his parents’ killer, from suicide, demanding legal accountability—a pivotal step in his recovery. At the police academy, he bonded with Rei, Jinpei Matsuda, Kenji Hagiwara, and Wataru Date. Initially reserved, he gradually opened up, sharing hobbies like fishing and guitar with Rei, whose later musical skill mirrored Hiromitsu’s influence.

Posthumously, Hiromitsu’s bullet-damaged phone, preserved by Rei and delivered to Taka’aki, became evidence of his sacrifice. His death fueled Rei’s enduring grudge against Akai, erroneously blamed for the suicide.

Shaped by early trauma, Hiromitsu’s resilience grew through camaraderie, driving his commitment to justice. His undercover work and final act underscored a life dedicated to protecting others, even through self-sacrifice.
