Eins Exaura is a character from the Green World known as Grunewald Silt, a realm defined by military control and advanced weaponry. She is an artificially created life form, a genetically engineered soldier produced by the Grunesilt military. Her designation is that of a Progress, a girl who has awakened to special abilities called Exceeds, and she is specifically referred to as an artificial Progress. Her very existence is a product of military science, designed for combat.

As a result of her origins, Eins Exaura possesses a unique and detached personality. Her Exceed ability is named Expend, and its activation comes with a significant and defining cost: she loses her memories of the past. This constant loss of her own history has shaped her worldview, leading her to have a very weak sense of ethics regarding life and the consequences of her actions. She does not place the same value on existence as others might, making her a cavalier and dangerous opponent who acts without the burden of personal history or moral hesitation. She wields a powerful blade named Migliardia, and her combat style is further enhanced by the ability to manipulate what are described as infinite blades. In terms of sheer individual fighting prowess, she is considered one of the strongest, if not the strongest, warrior within the Green World.

In the narrative, Eins Exaura has a significant and antagonistic relationship with Nya Lapucea, who serves as her former commander. After being abandoned by Nya during a rescue mission, Eins becomes consumed by a desire for revenge, seeking to kill her former leader for leaving her behind. This betrayal leads her to align with the series' antagonistic force, the Ouroboros, and she becomes a formidable adversary from within the Dark Side. Her role shifts from a soldier of the Green World to a personal threat against Nya, using her strength and fighting skills to enact her vengeance and even taking hostages to achieve her goals.

Despite her turn to villainy, Eins Exaura is ultimately not beyond redemption. She is eventually defeated by Nya Lapucea in a critical confrontation and is subsequently freed from the control of the Ouroboros. This marks a turning point for her character, as she is rescued and given a chance to step away from her path of destruction, allowing for a resolution to her personal conflict with her former commander.
