Description
Hisahito Mizuki is a third-year student and the captain of the Seiseki High School soccer team, wearing the number seven jersey. He stands 176 centimeters tall and weighs 66 kilograms, with a birthday on February 11. As a forward born in Tokyo, his right foot is his dominant one.

Mizuki is a quiet individual who speaks sparingly, yet he commands immense respect and trust from his teammates, serving as the team's pillar both on and off the field. His personality is defined by a serious and dedicated nature, but he also possesses an endearing absent-minded side, often expressing himself with onomatopoeia or misunderstanding common phrases, which creates unintentional comedic moments. His favorite saying is "There is no such thing as a weed," reflecting his resilient and positive outlook. Outside of soccer, he has a notable skill for sumo wrestling and performing well on multiple-choice answer sheets. He enjoys eating gummies and yakisoba, while he dislikes thin, long objects.

His motivation and development are central to his character. Mizuki entered high school as a complete novice to soccer, having initially wanted to join the sumo club, which his school did not have. Through sheer determination and relentless effort, he transformed himself into one of the strongest players in Tokyo, known as a "monster" and a member of the prestigious "Big 3". This rapid growth stems from a powerful desire to improve, as he is constantly asking teammates and even opponents to teach him their techniques after a match. Although his tactical understanding of the game remains somewhat low due to his late start, his physical prowess, animalistic instinct for scoring, and powerful shooting, referred to as a "cannon," more than compensate for these deficiencies.

In the story, Mizuki's role is that of the ultimate ace and leader. He is an indispensable player whose performance often decides the outcome of matches, particularly in the second half where his stamina and focus make him a decisive force. One of his most notable partnerships is with Atsushi Kimishita, with whom he forms a formidable and feared attacking duo. He shares a special bond with Tsukushi Tsukamoto, another beginner, telling a teammate that Tsukamoto will be the captain in two years. In a significant moment of development, when a recurring foot injury forces Mizuki to leave the pitch during a national tournament final, he passes the captain's armband to Tsukamoto, symbolically acknowledging him as the team's future leader. Despite his injury struggles, including one sustained in a training camp bath that required four months to heal, his achievements have already secured him a place as a professional player with the Kashima club after graduation.
