Description
Kenken is a supporting character in the anime "Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto". He is a male adolescent and a classmate in class 1-2. He is recognized as one of three members of a delinquent trio, alongside his friends Atsushi Maeda, often called Acchan, and another student named Mario. His most distinctive physical features are his hair, which is typically styled upright and is either a bright orange or blond color, and his brown eyes. He also has earrings and wears the standard school gakuran uniform.
True to his role in the group of punks, Kenken initially acts as an antagonist toward the series' protagonist, Sakamoto. His primary motivation is to target Sakamoto for bullying, as he and his friends dislike the effortlessly cool and popular new student. Kenken has confidence in his own athletic abilities and seems to believe that his physical prowess will give him an advantage over his classmates.
In the story, Kenken serves as part of the comedic opposition to Sakamoto. Along with Acchan and Mario, he devises various plans to harass or humiliate Sakamoto. However, these schemes invariably backfire in spectacular and stylish fashion, often leaving the trio in awe of Sakamoto's abilities rather than having succeeded in their goal. For example, their initial attempts at targeting him result in them being charmed by his antics instead. His role is to be one of the many students who are inadvertently won over by Sakamoto's unconventional and flawless behavior.
Regarding key relationships, Kenken is most closely associated with his fellow delinquents. He, Acchan, and Mario are almost always seen together as they plan their next move or react as a group to Sakamoto's latest exploits. There is no information available about Kenken's personal background, family, or any significant individual character development he undergoes throughout the series. His personality and role remain largely consistent, functioning as part of the trio of class troublemakers. Similarly, aside from his stated confidence in his fleetness of foot, there are no details about any specific or notable abilities he possesses beyond those of an average high school student.
