Powawa is a supporting character in the anime Rilu Rilu Fairilu: Yōsei no Door, and he also appears in the follow-up series Rilu Rilu Fairilu: Mahō no Kagami. He is a male Powa-Powa Fairilu belonging to the Legend Fairilu species and serves as the pet of Lip, the series' main character. In appearance, Powawa is a small, white, fluffy dog-like Fairilu with tiny light blue wings, small black eyes and a small black nose, and blushed cheeks. Around his neck he wears a bone-shaped key, which is his Fairilu Key.

As a Fairilu, Powawa was born from a Fairilu Seed in the magical world of Little Fairilu. Like other Fairilu, he carries his own Fairilu Key, which connects him to the magical doors through which Fairilu cast spells and travel between the fairy world and the human world. His role in the story is centered on his close bond with Lip, staying at her side as a companion through the everyday events and adventures she experiences. That relationship is his most prominent connection within the cast, and he continues to appear alongside her in the subsequent series.
