Nozomu Hanamura is the central human character in the anime Rilu Rilu Fairilu: Yousei no Door. He is a twelve-year-old middle school boy at the start of the series and turns thirteen in the second season. He has pale skin, brown eyes, and short blue hair with blunt bangs. His typical attire consists of a yellow sweater worn over a white shirt, blue pants, and blue loafers.
Nozomu's fascination with magical creatures began in childhood after his grandmother told him stories about the Fairilu. He firmly believes in their existence and aspires to become a researcher of these beings. His personality is calm, quiet, and kind.
