Natsuki Hanae is a Japanese voice actor born on June 26, 1991, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent agency Across Entertainment. Deciding to become a voice actor after being inspired by the anime Ouran High School Host Club, he contacted his agency directly without attending a formal voice actor training school. He joined Across Entertainment in November 2009 on a trial basis and made his debut in 2011.

His first leading role in a television anime came in 2012 as Atsuhiro "Wien" Maeda in Tari Tari, for which he also composed music for two episodes. A year later, he landed the lead role of Hikari Sakishima in Nagi-Asu: A Lull in the Sea, though his first lead role to air was Kiri Haimura in The Severing Crime Edge.

Hanae's career gained significant momentum in 2014 with a series of high-profile lead performances. He voiced Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul, Inaho Kaizuka in Aldnoah.Zero, and Kōsei Arima in Your Lie in April. This success continued with roles such as Takumi Aldini in the long-running Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma series, Haruichi Kominato in Ace of Diamond, and Sieg in Fate/Apocrypha.

In 2019, he began voicing his most internationally renowned role, Tanjiro Kamado, in the massive hit anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He has continued to take on diverse and leading roles, including Vanitas in The Case Study of Vanitas, the Duke of Death in The Duke of Death and His Maid, Falco Grice in Attack on Titan The Final Season, Shinpei Ajiro in Summer Time Rendering, Odokawa in ODDTAXI, and Ken "Okarun" Takakura in Dandadan. Other notable roles from the extensive list provided include 9S in NieR:Automata Ver 1.1a, Makoto Misumi in Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy-, Yōta Narukami in The Day I Became a God, and Appare Sorano in Appare-Ranman!.

Hanae's talent and popularity have been recognized with numerous awards. He won the Best Rookie Actor award at the 9th Seiyu Awards in 2015. He received the Best Personality award at the 11th Seiyu Awards in 2017 and the Best Lead Actor award at the 14th Seiyu Awards in 2020. In 2023, he was honored with the Influencer Award at the 17th Seiyu Awards.

Beyond voice acting, Hanae is a popular and successful YouTuber. He launched his channel in December 2018 to post let's play videos, which he edits himself, as a way to offer free content to fans. His channel has amassed millions of subscribers. He also had a brief career as a singer, releasing a single in 2016.
