Description
Kimura began his journey as a junior member of the Inugane-gumi yakuza clan, serving directly under Kazuhiko Sugihara. When Sugihara underwent a forced gender transition and transformation into the idol Chika Sugihara, and the idol group Gokudols was formed with the three transformed yakuza members, Kimura was reassigned. He became their personal assistant and general helper, tasked with managing their daily schedules and effectively serving as their attendant.
This shift in roles fostered a strained dynamic, especially with Chika, complicated further by Kimura developing genuine fandom for the Gokudols' idol personas. This culminated in Kimura being discovered possessing merchandise featuring Chika's image, including underwear printed with her likeness. This revelation significantly damaged his prior subordinate relationship with Kazuhiko, creating deep personal friction and awkwardness.
Despite this tension, Kimura's connection to Chika evolved into a romantic relationship, with Kimura fully aware of Chika's past identity as Kazuhiko. This closeness led to Kimura being targeted and kidnapped alongside others connected to the Gokudols during antagonist Seiji Koizumi's orchestrated confrontation. He was subsequently rescued in the climactic battle involving the Gokudols and Boss Inugane.
In the live-action film adaptation, actor Tetsuya Sugaya portrayed Kimura, capturing the character's core role as the idols' assistant navigating the complexities of their past identities and his personal feelings.
