Description
Falco Grice is an Eldian from Liberio, part of a family living as second-class citizens under Marley's discriminatory policies. His uncle's militant role in the Eldian Restorationists led to execution by Titan consumption. To atone for this association and pursue honorary Marleyan status, Falco and his older brother Colt enlisted in Marley's Warrior program.

Physically short with a slight build, Falco possesses light brown or blond hair and light hazel eyes. The standard Marleyan military uniform adorns him, marked by the mandatory Eldian armband, reflecting his youth and unassuming nature.

His personality contrasts sharply with typical Warrior candidates. Lacking natural combat prowess and struggling with assertiveness, he often requires rescue, such as Colt saving him from enemy fire. Yet he demonstrates bravery, notably leaping into danger to protect fellow candidate Gabi Braun, for whom he harbors deep affection. His primary motivation for becoming a Warrior is to inherit the Armored Titan himself, sparing Gabi from its life-shortening "Curse of Ymir."

Compassion defines his character. During the Battle of Fort Slava, he aids an injured enemy soldier, arguing the man could no longer fight and deserved medical care—an act drawing mockery from peers who deem it weak. He comforts traumatized Eldian veterans in Liberio, adjusting one soldier's armband and later delivering letters for him, unaware this veteran was Eren Yeager in disguise ("Mr. Kruger"). Eren exploited this kindness to gather intelligence.

Falco exhibits strategic thinking and improvisation. He devises convincing alibis when encountering Sasha Blouse's family in Paradis and creates excuses to leave discreetly. Initially insecure, conversations with Reiner Braun and "Mr. Kruger" bolster his confidence, improving combat performance. He remains humble despite praise, crediting others for his progress.

His story unfolds during Marley's war against the Mid-East Allied Forces. As a candidate evaluated to inherit the Armored Titan, he witnesses Titan warfare's brutality, including Zeke Yeager's transformation of Eldians into Pure Titans. Disturbed by the cycle of violence, he confronts Reiner about the toll of Titan inheritance, revealing his desire to protect Gabi. Reiner implores him to inherit the Titan to save her.

Returning to Liberio, Falco delivers letters for "Mr. Kruger," later revealed as Eren. When Eren attacks Liberio, Falco understands the retaliation stems from Marley's prior aggression against Paradis. During this battle, Zeke's spinal fluid—ingested earlier via contaminated wine—transforms Falco into a grotesquely tall, emaciated Pure Titan with a distended neck and hinged jaw. In this state, he inadvertently devours Porco Galliard, inheriting the Jaw Titan and regaining his humanity.

Falco's Jaw Titan form stands 5 meters tall, exhibiting avian traits from Zeke's Beast Titan fluid: a beak-like outer jaw, talon-like limbs, and fur-covered skin. This form later develops wings and feathers, enabling flight, while its dual jaws shatter hardened materials.

During Eren Yeager's global Rumbling, Falco allies with former enemies to stop the genocide, using his flying Titan form to rescue allies from Eren's forces. His actions carry unintended consequences: his Pure Titan form killed Porco, and his transformation blast fatally injured Colt, who was moments from inheriting the Beast Titan.

Post-conflict, Falco survives, retaining his Jaw Titan abilities. Years later, he reflects on the war's legacy while maintaining a commitment to peace.
