1BOYS MEET GIRL
Tsubasa Sumisora arrives at GANDARA MUSIC as a newly hired A&R. Yashamaru, the producer, brings her to a rehearsal where she meets the ten members of B-PROJECT. The group divides into three sub-units: Kitakore, THRIVE, and MooNs. Yashamaru receives a phone call and steps away during introductions. He returns to inform the idols that their scheduled appearance at the FMJ Song Festival has been cancelled. The cancellation removes a major promotional opportunity for B-PROJECT while five other GANDARA MUSIC groups will still perform. Yashamaru assigns Tsubasa to oversee Kitakore’s recording session as her first solo task. At the studio, she listens to Kitakore members Tomohisa and Ryuji record a new song. Despite lacking formal music training, Tsubasa identifies a dissonance in the harmony chords during playback. Tomohisa and Ryuji express surprise that she pinpointed an issue the producers missed. Tomohisa kisses Tsubasa on the cheek while she falls asleep afterward, a gesture Ryuji witnesses and Tomohisa signals to keep secret. Tsubasa begins to find her purpose in the role, though the cancellation of the festival and Yashamaru’s hands-off management style create immediate uncertainty for the group’s momentum.
2DIE HARD
A&R representative Tsubasa Sumisora initiates a joint live concert to introduce KiLLER KiNG as the newest addition to B-PROJECT. The agency pairs the new unit with THRIVE,both belonging to the same management company Brave Entertainment. KiLLER KiNG members attend rigorous rehearsals alongside THRIVE, where tensions arise from clashing performance styles and professional attitudes. THRIVE's focus on technical precision and experienced stage presence contrasts sharply with KiLLER KiNG's raw enthusiasm and unpolished delivery. During practice, disagreements surface between the groups over choreography and vocal arrangements, forcing both units to confront their creative differences directly. The conflict escalates when a rehearsal run-through fails to meet the expected standard, prompting staff to intervene and push for compromise. Individual members from both groups begin to acknowledge each other's strengths after witnessing dedicated practice sessions. The collaboration ultimately yields a combined stage performance that merges THRIVE's polished execution with KiLLER KiNG's energetic style. The successful joint live concludes with the official public introduction of KiLLER KiNG as B-PROJECT members. Following the concert, the expanded fourteen-member group faces the immediate challenge of building unity across all four units now operating under one project.
3Episode 3
Tsubasa notices Kitakado and Korekuni avoiding each other during rehearsals. Kitakado insists their unit maintain a pristine, traditional idol image. Korekuni pushes for a bolder concept to attract a wider audience. Their disagreement stalls choreography practice and creates visible tension among the other members. Tsubasa arranges a private meeting between the two, presenting a new song that merges both their ideas. Kitakado refuses the arrangement until Korekuni admits he fears being left behind if they do not evolve. Kitakado then confesses his own fear that changing their image could alienate long-time fans. They agree to perform the new song together, synchronizing their movements during a surprise live segment. The audience responds positively, and the unit resumes joint rehearsals without further resistance. The other B-PROJECT units witness the reconciliation and refocus on their own preparations. After the performance, the agency announces a nationwide tour, placing the newly settled group dynamic under immediate pressure.
4BREAK OUT STAR
B-PROJECT arrives late to the RAIZIN ROCK FES after Tsubasa misreads the schedule while sightseeing with the group. Upon arrival, they face multiple setbacks: stage equipment has been relocated, forcing MooNs to alter their formation, and audio problems disrupt their rehearsal. Kazuna cuts the rehearsal short to reduce strain on event staff and resolves to find a solution alone. Tensions rise among the members as Tomohisa repeatedly offers help and Kazuna refuses, while Goshi accuses Kazuma of prioritizing MooNs over the group as a whole. A storm hits the venue, causing a power outage during which Tsubasa trips and spills coffee onto Ryuji's costume. Other performers refuse to go on stage due to the weather, but Nishikawa Takanori decides to perform first regardless. Inspired by his initiative, Tomohisa announces that B-PROJECT will also take the stage. Ryuji proposes performing shirtless under the name "B-PROJECT: Naked" to work around the stained costume. The rain clears before their turn, and Tsubasa finishes cleaning the costume in time for them to wear it. They deliver a successful performance that earns Nishikawa's praise and raises their ambition to headline a solo concert at The Dome.
5BACK TO THE BABY
A weekly magazine publishes a scandal article about the renowned actor Matsukura Kenzo, revealing his affair. Kokuto, whose father is Matsukura, struggles internally as the gossip spreads. During a break from rehearsals, he slips away from the other members to avoid the topic. A persistent paparazzo corners Kokuto and questions him about the scandal, provoking painful memories from his trainee days when he was bullied. Distraught, Kokuto runs off and falls down a steep flight of stairs, losing consciousness. He wakes up in the Kitakado family hospital with no memory of recent events, his mind regressing to when he was seven years old. The child-like Kokuto trusts only Kitakado, clinging to him and recalling their first meeting in the snow years ago. While participating in a photoshoot to help him recover, Kokuto naturally wears a dress and charms the irritable photographer with his innocent smile. Kitakado watches him and quietly affirms that his smile carries its own unique light. Later, Kokuto darts into the street and narrowly avoids a car when Kitakado pulls him to safety, the shock fully restoring his memories. With the crisis resolved, the paparazzo backs off after receiving a warning, and the group returns to their preparations, leaving Kokuto to reconcile his family’s scandal with his commitment to B-PROJECT.
6MOVING ON
Hasegawa, the secretary to Mikado Sekimura's father, arrives at Mikado's workplace with a message from his father demanding he quit MooNs and prepare for a career in civil service. Mikado had previously made a promise to his father to become an idol only on the condition that he would leave when told. Mikado hides the encounter from his fellow MooNs members, but they find his resignation letter in his room. The group confronts Mikado, who explains his strict upbringing and the binding promise. MooNs, joined by KiLLER KiNG, try to convince him to stay, but their initial appeals fail. Later, MooNs takes Mikado for a walk in the park, reminding him of the joy they share as idols, which causes him to hesitate. During their radio show "MooNs' Midnight Talk," Kazuna reads a letter from a fan who faced a similar situation of having to abandon personal dreams. Mikado responds to the letter on air, delivering a speech about pursuing one's own path and refusing to let others control one's life. Following the broadcast, Mikado confronts Hasegawa, rips up the resignation form in front of him, and declares he will sever ties with his family. The episode concludes with Mikado choosing his career as an idol over his family's expectations, setting the stage for the consequences of his newfound defiance.
7B-PROJECT~鼓動*アンビシャス~
Tsubasa and the other members of B-PROJECT learn from A&R representative Sumisora that they will compete in the upcoming JAPAN Dream Festival. The group that wins the festival gains the chance to perform on a year-end music show. Sumisora also announces that Kitakado from THRIVE will serve as the leader for the combined unit during the event. Tension rises within the group as members from the three units—THRIVE,MooNs, and KiLLER KiNG—must now work together. Tomohisa from KiLLER KiNG openly questions Kitakado’s leadership, doubting his ability to coordinate everyone fairly. Meanwhile, MooNs member Ryuji focuses on practicing choreography but finds himself struggling to keep pace with the more experienced dancers. Tsubasa observes the friction and decides to help by mediating discussions and offering support during rehearsals. She encourages the members to voice their individual concerns rather than letting misunderstandings build. Kitakado acknowledges his lack of experience in leading such a large team and begins adjusting his approach by consulting each member personally. The combined group starts to show signs of cohesion after a joint practice session where they synchronize their performance for the first time. However, on the day of the festival’s preliminary round, technical difficulties with the stage equipment cause a sudden disruption during their performance. The episode ends with the group facing the risk of disqualification as staff scramble to resolve the issue.
8Episode 8
Ryuji,a former bandmate of Goshi, reappears as a producer for the rival idol group Verdict. He corners Goshi backstage after a joint rehearsal, accusing him of abandoning their shared musical ideals. Goshi remains silent, his unresolved guilt over leaving their previous band surfacing. Tsubasa and Kento from Thrive notice Goshi’s withdrawal and press him for an explanation. Ryuji extends an offer for Goshi to reunite and form a new unit, emphasizing the creative freedom Goshi once prioritized. Goshi spends days in isolation, replaying memories of the artistic compromises that led to his split with Ryuji. The other members of Thrive hold a private discussion and agree to support Goshi regardless of his final choice. During a live event, Goshi publicly declines Ryuji’s proposal, stating that his commitment to Thrive now shapes his music. Ryuji departs with a veiled threat, leveraging his producer status to bolster Verdict’s resources. The immediate consequence is a strengthened resolve within Thrive, but the unit now faces direct competition from a rival group with increased industry backing.
