Yūto Uemura is a Japanese voice actor and actor born on October 23, 1993, in Saitama Prefecture. He is affiliated with the Himawari Theatre Group, a talent agency known for representing both child actors and seasoned performers. Uemura began his entertainment career as a child actor at the age of four, starting in 1999, and made his voice acting debut in 2002, providing the voice for the title character in the film Bonobono: Kumomo no Ki no Koto. He is a graduate of Chuo University.
Uemura's career is marked by a wide range of leading and supporting roles in prominent anime series. One of his most notable and enduring roles is that of Atsushi Nakajima, the protagonist of the long-running series Bungo Stray Dogs, a part he has played since 2016 across multiple seasons and a film. He gained further recognition for his portrayal of the complex lead character Thorfinn in the acclaimed historical epic Vinland Saga.
