Description
Jakah is one of the main characters in Dark Moon: The Blood Altar. He is a vampire who studies at Decelis Academy alongside his six close companions, and he is also a member of the school's Nightball Team.

Among the group of seven vampires, Jakah is distinguished by his sharp intellect and quick thinking. He is known as the smartest of his brothers, possessing a rational and decisive mindset that allows him to assess situations swiftly and determine the most effective course of action. This logical nature is a cornerstone of his personality, and his brothers frequently rely on him for guidance and counsel. He feels a profound sense of responsibility for the group, believing that he must consistently do better and step up to ensure their safety. Having lived for centuries while hiding their true identities as vampires among humans, Jakah understands the risks they face, and his primary motivation is to protect his family from any threat.

Within the narrative, Jakah fills the crucial role of the strategist and the reliable protector. While other members of the group, such as Heli, may have a more immediate or mystical connection to the female protagonist Sooha, Jakah's contribution is grounded in his unwavering dependability and his commitment to the group's collective welfare. His relationships with the other six vampires—Heli, Jaan, Jino, Shion, Noa, and Solon—are defined by deep, brotherly bonds forged over a long and difficult history. He is an integral part of their unit, and his actions are consistently guided by a desire to keep them safe from the dangers of their supernatural world, including the centuries-old rivalry with werewolves.

Regarding his personal development, Jakah's character is defined by the tension between his logical mind and the chaotic, dangerous situations the group often faces. His belief that he must do more to protect his brothers suggests an internal drive that pushes him to exceed his own limits. As the story progresses and the group becomes more entangled with Sooha and the conflicts that arise, Jakah's resolve and strategic thinking are continually tested, forcing him to adapt in order to fulfill his self-appointed duty as a guardian.

As a vampire, Jakah possesses the standard physiological traits of his kind, including superhuman speed. This ability is specifically noted, setting him apart from his brothers who may have other powers, such as pyrokinesis or gravity manipulation. His agility and quick reflexes are assets on the Nightball team and in combat situations, allowing him to react and move faster than any human possibly could. While he may not possess the most flamboyant or destructive abilities, his true strength lies in the combination of his supernatural physicality and his sharp, tactical mind.
