Description
Asuta Jimon, codenamed Dva (Russian for "two"), is a runaway middle school student who fled escalating conflict with his father, Kyoshiro Jimon. Pressure to join the family business soured their relationship, culminating in Asuta's departure. Kyoshiro severed ties definitively by canceling his son's credit card. Kyoshiro is later revealed as Tokyo's governor and head of the White Light organization, an enemy of Zvezda. He explicitly disowned Asuta, declaring him no longer his son and showing indifference to his survival.

Homeless after running away, Asuta encountered Kate Hoshimiya (Zvezda's leader) and was reluctantly recruited. He initially requested to leave but stayed, lacking alternatives for shelter and belonging. As Dva, Zvezda's lowest-ranking combat member, he wears a black gas mask with the Zvezda symbol and a skintight bodysuit on missions. Despite his non-combatant status, he displays agility in evasion, problem-solving skills, and quick reflexes. He once wielded a sword effectively to rescue White Robin, though this skill wasn't reused. His primary role evolved into managing Zvezda’s domestic operations: cooking, cleaning, shopping, and laundry for the entire group, often overworking himself. He acknowledged Zvezda could not function without his logistical support.

Key relationships defined Asuta's development. He developed mutual romantic feelings with classmate Renge Komadori (White Robin). Though their alter egos Dva and White Robin were mortal enemies—especially after an accidental physical incident—Asuta prioritized their personal connection, freeing her when Zvezda captured her despite organizational conflict. Their bond deepened when Renge defected from White Light to protect him, publicly exposing her identity. Conversely, interactions with his father remained hostile; Asuta explicitly stated he hated Kyoshiro for "using children" in militaristic schemes, reflecting their irreparable rift.

Personality-wise, Asuta balanced panic in chaos with stoic acceptance of Zvezda's world-conquest ambitions. Initially skeptical of their goals, he bonded with the group and found purpose supporting them. His moral ambiguity manifested as anti-hero traits: he avoided causing harm and sometimes acted against Zvezda's interests to uphold his conscience, like aiding Renge. This duality compounded his identity struggle—he rejected his privileged background as the governor's son but later attempted, unsuccessfully, to leverage it to protect Zvezda. By the climax, he fully embraced his role in Zvezda, choosing loyalty to Kate and the group over his past. His dual identities (Asuta and Dva) gradually merged, symbolized by retaining the Zvezda mask even when revealing his face in pivotal confrontations.

A recurring motif involved others mispronouncing his name (e.g., "Asate" or "Shiasatte," meaning "day after tomorrow" or "two days after tomorrow"), subtly reinforcing his uncertain identity theme. His arc concluded by solidifying his place in Zvezda as a found family, transitioning from a directionless runaway to a committed member protecting their collective ideals.
