TV-Series
Description
Cell War, a core member of Innocent Zero, was created by the leader from a corpse using his own blood. This origin fuels Cell War's fanatical devotion; he addresses his creator as "Father," considering him closest to godhood. His creation potentially aimed to substitute Mash Burnedead in a ritual requiring six blood relatives' hearts, but the ritual failed when Innocent Zero resumed hunting Mash, indicating Cell War's heart was unsuitable.

Physically, Cell War sports short blond hair in a bob cut, yellowish irises, and dark purple lipstick. Two lightning-shaped magic marks sit under each eye, resembling Mash's. He wears long earrings with attached hair strands and a dark purple robe covering his body. His primary equipment includes a spiked wand and the Spell-Reflection Mirror, a powerful magical item that cancels and reflects amplified spells, later destroyed by Mash.

Cell War wields Carbo magic, enabling carbon manipulation. He creates high-speed carbon constructs like weapons, towers, and obsidian projectiles. Specific techniques are Carbo Rain (launching multiple obsidian weapons) and its enhanced form, Carbo Heavy Rain (greater volume and speed). He instantly generates carbon armor for protection, later hardened to diamond via summoning Hephaestus, granting diamond-based attacks: Diamond Cutter (homing diamond chakrams) and Black Diamond (launching shards of ultra-tough black diamond). Beyond carbon magic, he demonstrates transformation (used to impersonate Lance Crown), gravity manipulation (levitation and repelling attacks), and control magic (forcing self-harm via a purple aura).

His narrative spans multiple arcs. During the Magia Lupus arc, he manipulates Abel Walker and orchestrates conflicts at Easton Magic Academy. In the Divine Visionary Selection Exam arc, he confronts Mash directly but is defeated. Afterward, Innocent Zero's subordinate Domina Blowlive seemingly executes him by destroying his head; however, Cell War regenerates over time due to his undead physiology. In the Eclipse arc, Divine Visionary Ryoh Grantz captures and tortures him for information. Under threat from Orter Madl, he reveals Innocent Zero's location and is last seen tied up and dragged by Orter. The series concludes showing him living normally as a milk deliveryman.

Personality-wise, Cell War is flamboyant, takes pleasure in cruelty, and remains subservient. He expresses bewilderment at the antics of Innocent Zero's other subordinates, the Devil's Quintuplets, yet follows them out of duty. Fanbook trivia notes his hobbies include serving Innocent Zero and skincare (regular moisturizing), while he dislikes treachery against his creator. He holds strong opinions: vowing to kill Mash, criticizing Orter Madl for "putting sand on his butt," and acknowledging traits of the Devil's Quintuplets like Epidem' love for pudding.

Relationships center on absolute loyalty to Innocent Zero, viewed as both master and father. He lacks significant bonds with the Devil's Quintuplets despite accompanying them, and his interactions with Mash are purely antagonistic. Quintuplet members describe him as excessively bullied but capable of resolving it through strength (Doom), prone to amusing reactions (Famin), and overly serious (Delisaster).

Combat capabilities include immense magical power comparable to Divine Visionaries, superhuman reflexes (catching high-speed projectiles), and regenerative immortality as a reanimated corpse. Weaknesses encompass arrogance—though he fights seriously after drawing blood—and vulnerability to asphyxiation even with diamond armor, demonstrated when Mash incapacitated him via strangulation.

Trivia notes artwork sometimes omits his lipstick and earrings. His fanbook statistics list blood type AB, left-handedness, and a salary spent on cosmetics.
